The Origin Story

We saw brilliant entrepreneurs and established small businesses relying on pen and paper, their most critical information vulnerable to being lost or damaged, and their efficiency capped by time-consuming tasks.

Celxius was founded from a deep-seated passion to close this gap. It was born from the belief that technology should be an accessible tool that empowers, not intimidates. We set out to create a different kind of software company, one dedicated to developing streamlined, intuitive digital solutions that help Caribbean businesses operate more efficiently, connect with more customers, and secure their hard-earned success. Hello, I'm Omari Celestine, the Founder and Lead Developer at Celxius.
My fascination with technology began at a young age, driven by a curiosity for the inner workings of computers. This passion evolved from simply fixing hardware to a dedicated pursuit of creating software that solves real-world problems. With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I've focused my craft on developing efficient, interactive, and human-centric software systems.
Before founding Celxius, my experience included developing a comprehensive Information Management System and eLearning Platform for a secondary school. This project solidified my belief in the power of technology to transform inefficient, manual processes into streamlined, effective systems. It was a clear demonstration of how the right digital tools can empower an organization to make informed decisions and better serve its community.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am committed to continuous learning and applying new technologies to build creative solutions that make a tangible difference.
